Sullivan Stapleton as Themistocles

If you go back and watch the first trailer for 300: Rise of an Empire you’ll only see Sullivan Stapleton for about 20-30 seconds. It’s clear the marketing folks didn’t see him as a major pull early on, but jump to the 3rd trailer and he’s the first character introduced. Regardless, we’re still wondering who he is and if the 300 series will be as kind to him as it was to Gerald Butler. Who are Ya?

Dawn of the Planet of the Apes trailer

The first trailer for the Dawn of the Planet of the Apes is here and I must say Caesar is looking bad ass with that war paint. It’s 8 years after the events of Rise of the Planet of the Apes and it looks like James Franco’s character has no significant involvement. Instead, we have Gary Oldman, Jason Clarke and Kerri Russell, which is nothing to complain about. Also, Andy Serkis reprises his role as the ape leader – Caesar. Watch it here.

The Counselor Teaser Trailer: Lawyers and Drug Trafficking

Penelope Cruz The Counselor

No, The Counselor isn’t the 4th Cormac McCarthy novel to get a film treatment. This is Cormac McCarthy’s first original screenplay which is getting the Ridley Scott touch. The cast is quite stunning as well; Brad Pitt, Michael Fassbender, Penelope Crus, and Javier Bardem with a odd hairstyle again. The Counselor teaser trailer keeps things ambiguous, but I’m fine with that because it looks really good. Watch here.

This right here is an awesome trailer. Leonardo Dicaprio is teaming up for the 5th time with Martin Scorsese, just 3 films shy of the Deniro-Scorsese collaborations. This duos track record is proof enough that The Wolf on Wall Street will be nothing short of amazing cinema. The trailer works perfectly in sync with the horrific screams and Marilyn Manson beats of Kanye West’s (YEEZUS) new song – Black Skinhead. Cut the crap – watch now.
